the gtube

getting anxious is always my response to things like this. knowing that this could possibly kill my baby scares the shit out of me but look at what could happen if i didnt opt for it.... asperation is painful as an adult and we can clear the crap out of our lungs but she cant. this time it almost killed her.

    Praying for a quick recovery and an easy transition to the GTube...I am sure she will like that a whole lot better than the NG anyway!

    my name is tiffany, & I'm a peds nurse. I take care of a few hlhs babies and it's scary...they are tough, but full of surprises! I found you thru parker's site (his parents are from my home town area) and just wanted to drop you a line to wish you luck & prayers. this gtube will be lifechanging for ya'll! I hope surgery and recovery go smoothly, and try to take care of yourselves, too. and you should definitely try to find an adult sized owl blankie to match hers...it's pretty kick ass. ;)
